This week, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D turned 10 years old. Realising that we didn't have the power to turn back the clocks and stop the flow of time for a minute, we jumped to the natural 'plan B': making a quiz.
So, here you have it, folks, it's time to put your knowledge of Majora's Mask's masks to the test. Below, we have assembled a list of all 24 wearable masks in the game, and all you have to do is give us their name in the 3DS version.
Before diving in, we'd like to thank Zelda Dungeon and its library of Majora's Mask PNG images. You can find the full lineup in their list, but don't go looking until you've given your answers here! Nobody likes a cheat...

I have no idea about the game.
Attempted by curiosity and those masks looked freaking scary somehow.
easiest quiz I ever took. Perfect marks.
I used to watch Majora's Mask speedruns quite often back in the day, including randomisers and the like. And it's one of my favourite games ever anyway.
@EarthboundBenjy You beat me only on time. I had to stop on the Troupe Leader's Mask because I second guessed that it might be the Gorman Mask. Got it right though.
As expected 24/24 considering how much I've played (despite not finishing it myself until the 3DS version as mentioned last time), even more so watched others playing and also seen on wikis, guides etc. Majora's Mask!

Highly doubted my ability to much of this having only played the original once over 2 decades ago now when I was still a child, but still managed a ing grade. Not great, but not bad!

Dang, didn't realized it was timed, probably could have aimed for #1 if I hadn't stopped midway through. 24/24, I know my Majora's Mask stuff.
Calling the blast mask, the bomb mask is purely my own stupidity.
But the troupe leader's mask is just cruel. None of them felt right because it is the CIRCUS LEADER'S MASK!
24/24, and not because I've played the game enough myself, but moreso because I've watched too many randomizer runs of this game to them all (at least well enough to get a perfect score in this multiple choice run)!
And yeah I didn't realize it was timed either or I would have gotten a better score at least. Oh well. Fun quiz!

@-wc- Yeah, I didn't like Phantom Hourglass at all (although I know it's not that well regarded), and never really had the urge to try any of the others after that. My son has all the Switch games so might give one a go eventually, but what I've seen him play didn't really appeal to me. Maybe the older ones on Switch Online might be more my thing 🤷♂️

The different design of Garo's Mask definitely threw me off but I've managed to get 24/24

Got all but one. To be fair that one mask is kinda forgettable. (If you think I was gonna say what mask. Sorry no outside help!😝)
The all-night mask is what got me sidequest wise. That one's absurd to get. I think a friend helped me out on it.
Had to stop and think for a lot of them, I love Majora's Mask, and have done a 100% run of it, but it has been a few years since the last I played it, still got 24/24 though.
23/24, because today I learned that MM 3D completely redesigned a mask from the N64 version.
Towards the latter half of the quiz, I kept thinking of the Robot Chicken M.A.S.K. bit: "Why do we call these masks? This is a helmet, not a mask."

I got 23/24 because the Troupe Leader's Mask one stumped me. I forgot they changed it's name to that in the 3DS version :/ I completed the other questions really quickly too, since Majora is my second favourite game and I've been playing it since 2000.
12/24 I haven't played much of the game. There are a lot of masks I've never seen before.

Have played Majora's Mask many times so got 24/24 very quickly.
I sometimes wonder how Link sees out of some of these masks, like the Couple's Mask or Kamaro's Mask lol.
@-wc- The 3DS remake actually makes very few changes to the masks design-wise. If I correctly, only one has a different appearance and only one other one has a different name, and that's it.

23/24 - All because the N64 is more rooted in my brain than the 3DS version. Didn't realize they changed Circus Leader's mask's name and chose Gorman instead.

TBH I absolutely love this game but I've never gotten very far. it actually reminds me of being a kid playing OG zelda, when i was happy to just explore but didnt really understand how to advance in the game 😂
@-wc- I was able to 100% this game as a kid... with the help of the Nintendo Power strategy guide lol. 😅

lol yeah I dont use strategy guides or look up solutions in games, just my style. Not that theres anything wrong with it, or that i never have ✌️
Some of these names were harder to than I expected given that I only played the game for the first time last year, but I got 21/24, so not too bad.
My favourite quiz so far! Nicely written. Majora's Mask is one of Nintendo's greatest games and the one with the best side quests and time mechanics. One of my favourite games ever, no doubt about it.
It's been so long since I've played, on the original release, but I'm happy with my 15/24 score.

19 out of 24. I blew some critical ones in there. I surprisingly ed quite a few so I'm very pleased with my score.

Almost managed a perfect run (like a lot of others seem to have done) but got caught up on the troupe leaders mask and unfortunately fell one short.
22/24 messed up the Blast Mask and Troupe Leader Mask.
This one was easy!
